Net Worth Manager Template

This page covers how to set up the Net Worth Template to be used in your app

Before You Begin

Purchase the Net Worth Management Template from the Bubble marketplace.
Subscribe to the Plaid Plugin by Lost Sheep Advisory in the plugin page inside the Bubble editor.
Sign up for a free Plaid account 
Subscribe to the Apex Charts plugin (If you want the charts in your app) from the plugin page inside the Bubble editor

Configure the Plaid Plugin

In your Plugin tab, set up the Secrets and Environments to use Plaid in your Bubble app.

Notes:Make sure Backend Workflows are enabled in your Bubble app by going to Settings > API and checking the Enable Backend Workflows box. 
In the Plaid Sandbox, all bank's credentials are username user_good and password pass_good.

In your Plaid dashboard, find your Client ID and Secret Key. You will want to keep open on another tab as you will be using these keys in the next step.

Configure Plaid Actions

The Plaid Actions reusable element handles the Plaid plugin actions inside this template. What's left to set up is adding your app name to Plaid Link screen.

There are three custom workflows that you will be editing in this step: Create Link Token - Depository, Create Link Token - Investment, and Create Link Token - Liabilities.

The first action of each workflow is Create Link Token. Add your app name in the App Name field of this action.

Finish OAuth Set Up

This template comes with an OAuth page and the necessary workflows to handle OAuth redirects built in. The only step required to complete OAuth is to add your URL to the Plaid Dashboard. 

If you receive errors when attempting to connect a bank account through Plaid, the first thing you should do is confirm that you properly completed this step. 

Retrieve the link that points to the oauth-page. To do this, navigate to the oauth-page in the editor and preview the page. Then copy the link you see. (Note, if testing in development mode you will also need to add the development oauth page link to the Plaid dashboard).

Next Steps

Remove the Demo Login button from the template `index` page
Customize the design and functionality to work for your vision
Under Settings > Languages > Application texts & messages insert your desired app name for the App Name field
